The Bar Cart

To reiterate, I'm a big proponent; most designers are, of implementing items for uses other than that which they were intended. I just love the use of this traditional bar cart as a trolley for towels, soaps and extra tissue. Charming huh?

I like to keep things fairly simple and let the details speak for themselves. To create a sense of cohesion and consistency in this space I used geometric repetition of circles and squares to further reinforce the same established pattern in the hardware and fixtures.
An oversized glass canister not only keeps bars at the ready but also imbues a sense of nostalgia by housing wonderfully scented soaps, carefully chosen and brought back from memorable trips abroad.

Candle light flickers in my favourite little roost urchins.

I adore this bar cart. I've been looking for one like it all over. Any idea where you originally purchased it from?

Thanks SugarNova. This was originally purchased at Pottery Barn approximately 3 years ago. Hope this helps. :)
