Part of the plans for my (pretty much) whole home overhaul include my bedroom. I've had and adored the same headboard forever, but it's time for a change.
I ordered up a new upholstered frame last week.
Here's the profile below. The stud detailing looks black but is really an antiqued nickel.
This fat sausage of a package contains two new wool Gabbehs that I got for a steal at $180 a piece.
I can't wait to pull all the details together next week. Also need to get a new mattress. I've been luxuriously sleeping on LL's twin, on the floor- not so good. I dread going and trying them out with some sales dude looking on but it would be a shame to get a new bed and have no mattress for it.
Wishing you all a fab week. I'll pop in a post or two if there's time. xoxo
Can't wait to see it all come together- quite sure it will be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh boo! I understand the need for a bedframe. I just put one on my wish list. lol. Mattresses on the floor can be semi-romantic, if you make them that way, but I would love to have a new bedframe! Yours looks AMAZING! I can't wait to see how everything comes together.
ReplyDeleteMuch Love,
