Thanks so very much for all the lovely comments and well wishes for my sweet Carter. It means more than I can say. He seems a tiny bit better today. It may be awhile before his hearing returns, if at all, and before his facial nerve is better, but today I think I saw the slightest smile on his left side.
When things go awry it's comforting to have a place to retreat to. My room is just that for me. This corner and the horses head below are definitely two faves. Have a great day loves! xo

I could not agree more. It is so, SO important to have a place that is your sanctuary, a place where you can really retreat from the world and feel enveloped. I always suggest that, when organizing or designing, people make their bedroom a top priority for this reason. Glad to hear you have this. And continuing to send healing energy vibes your family's way!!
ReplyDeleteStill praying for your sweet Carter and that his hearing returns to BETTER then before. Stay strong super mama!! Thank you for posting updates :)
ReplyDeletePS Your house is gorge and hands down my fave. Love every square inch :)
Hang in there Mama! It's so scary isn't it? I hope you have lots of help and support there with you. You're doing an incredible job! It sounds like our boys had slightly similar issues. Luke's infection hadn't turned into an abscess yet, but came on so quickly and out of nowhere! We also had to do IV antibiotics. I'll pray for a full and speedy recovery for Connor and Carter and lots of rest for you!
