It also just so happened there was a design blogger meet up that I'd read about at simplified bee too. We were delighted to attend and meet the people behind the blogs. What a fantastic group! Here I am with Cristin (simplified bee) and Mariska (I Used To Be Snow White...) I was so excited to meet them!
And here with darling Courtney (A Thoughtful Place). I loved that dress!
Michaela, another sweet heart with a gorgeous smile and a big heart (Michaela Noelle Designs)And here with Michelle (Ten June)... my yellow living room carpet twin, and Courtney (Courtney Out Loud). My only wish would have been to spend more time with these awesome, savvy and fun people.
Here we are, Julie, an amazing artist (Julie Butler Art) and I, grinning ear to ear, maybe still in disbelief that we've left the 10 kids we have between us behind for a girlie weekend extraordinaire!
Here we are at Boulevard. What a fantastic time we had there.
Here's to the best travel partner! Perhaps it should be an annual event Julie?

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post.I really enjoyed meeting you. The last photo of you two is just stunning. I have to tell you that you made a HUGE impact on me when you brought up the "just" conversation. You completely changed the way I look at what I do and for that I will always be so grateful. Thank you.

At least an annual event is in order, I'd say! The entire weekend was such an exercise in 'recovering the beautiful' for me; a reminder to seek out and savour those simple pleasures that bring colour to life... and what a spectacular soul guide and design enthusiast Miss Erica makes!
