Remember the mention of working on my 4th little moth's space [here]? Well, news of friends visiting over the weekend encouraged a push to put the crowning touches on some projects. My little Ethan's room was one of them. I sure hope he likes the finished space created with love just for him.
Inexpensive striped fabric from Ikea dresses up the table tops when placed under a sheet of lucite.

The room looks just perfect! Love the blue and red colour scheme. It makes me want to finish my son's room, it's about half way there and then I lost steam, this inspires me to get it done:)
It looks brilliant ~ he obviously has a thing for travel, I assume? And wow you look fantastic, love the colourful outfit.
Every piece in this room is amazing, right down to the VW bus!! A little boy's dream. I also adore the fabrics and artwork you chose. And the Eames-replica, my fav, I have 2!!!

My warmest thanks to all of you... really. So now to answer a few things:
the canvas is from homesense (homegoods in the u.s.) as is the little VW bus and the boxer book ends. The tokyo image is from a calender I bought years ago. The Eames replica office chair is from Costco. (I'm inherently frugal)
Debby... don't tease me! You can come and babysit anytime! But I might just stay home. :)

This room is amazing...love all the details and feel I must mention how cute YOU look in the room with your red pants! I love the red ticking stripe you added to the table tops. The art work, the desk and those red leather stools at the end of the bed are fabulous!

fantastic! Boys rooms are such a challenge - you've used a common palette but created a really uncommon room - the desk area is wonderful and the bedding -perfection!

The bed was purchased at Crate and Barrel and was called the Tattersol I believe. I'm pretty sure it's gone now but they do have a similar model called the Tate. Only difference being button tufting along the back. You may also want to try your luck at West Elm or CB2. Hope this helps. :) Erica
