What's Up

Hello Loves! We received a dump of snow last night and I feel in the mood for holiday decorating. I also have someone helping finish some reno projects which means I need to work on setting up rooms. Holiday decor is just so appealing. What traditions do you have and what do you look forward to getting out every year?? xo

Hi Erica,
For me it's a picture of my family's first Xmas in the US, the year we moved from Argentina. We didn't have much, but we had so much hope. My kids were so little. It just warms my heart when I take it out of storage and on to the mantle. Oh, I love the holidays.

We go pick out our Christmas tree every year after Thanksgiving dinner.

I am looking forward to, although it's going to be very sad, pulling out my Grandmother's Christmas decorations this year. She passed away last year and my cousins and I all divided her lovely Christmas decorations between us. They will be stunning additions to my Christmas decorations.

Gorgeous wreath!
I always look forward to unwrapping each special ornament while decorating the tree. I pick up an ornament whenever we travel and it always brings back such great memories of the trips as I hang each of them on the tree. :)

Dear Erica, I will start thinking of holiday decorations next week (I might steal that idea with an old dough tray and green moss), but first we are going to tackle that old turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family.

Love to you, Mon

Dearest Erica,

Christmas (as I'm sure is the case for most people), is my FAVORITE HOLIDAY. I absolutely adore it. My decor is usually less red and green and more of an evergreen wonderland look. I am all about using fresh wreaths, beautifully natural garlands strewn all around, silver ornaments, and candles, candles, candles. Oh yeah, and a lot of chocolate goodies beautifully displayed in little bowls around the house. But most of all, I LOVE Christmas because that means family, food, and the art of giving. Christmas is the ultimate Love holiday on so many levels. I can't wait!

PS In case you were wondering.... I GOT MARRIED!! Hence, my crazy absence the past few months. But, it was all totally worth it, it was completely beyond fabulous, and I can't wait to share every last detail on my blog!

I hope you are doing wonderful darling,

All my Love,
B.
