Surrounded by some of my favourite things, this space is bright, happy and makes me smile.
I love using a repetition of bright colours layered on white. If I grow tired of this scheme, it's easy to remove the colourful elements and replace them with a more simplified palate.
So, now I'll have to figure out what I'm on to next. There are still many rooms that need an overhaul after the reno, but this is one of the most pleasurable spaces to visit, now that the clutter is gone.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love the art above the desk and the big floor lamp best, but the whole feel is elegant and calm. Lovely!

I would absolutely love it if you would post a source list for this office -- especially wondering about the lamp and chair. I've been looking at Eames chairs for quite some time and to be honest, they're a bit out of my league at the moment. I am willing, however, to pay a good amount of money for a well made inspired-by chair. Can you help a girl out?
